On Sunday, Oct. 25, 24 candidates from the Formation for Ministry Program of the Diocese of Syracuse were commissioned and two candidates were recommissioned at a ceremony at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception Church in Syracuse. Bishop Robert J. Cunningham, Father Charles S. Vavonese, director for the Formation of Ministry and Deacon Kenneth Money concelebrated the ceremony. The candidates have spent two years attending classes, workshops and retreats in order to committ to three years of service to the diocese helping others in a specific ministry.
