Immaculate Conception School dives into Chromebooks

Katie Regan of BOCES gave a PowerPoint presentation about Chromebooks to parents and students Sept. 28 at Immaculate Conception School in Fayetteville. A Chromebook is a laptop on which students can do research on the internet and write reports.

The group gathered in the school’s gymnasium for the presentation. Regan explained the importance of Chromebooks in the classrooms and how the teachers can use them as part of their instructional tools. After the PowerPoint presentation,  students and parents headed to their respective classrooms to get hands-on experience with the new Chromebooks, which are available for use in the fourth through sixth grades.
