Most Holy Rosary holds fundraiser for Mercy House

MAINE — The Most Holy Rosary Church recently hosted a chicken and dumpling fundraiser to benefit Mercy House of the Southern Tier, a 24-hour care facility for all people with a terminal illness, regardles of age, race, faith or gender. The event included basket raffles, which were donated by parishioners and overseen by the Hands and Hearts of Mary.

Confirmation and religious education students donated their time as greeters and helped clear tables and serve more than  700 meals. Master baker,Theresa Gallagher, baked over 1,000 cupcakes for the event and Maine’s Gordie Gottlieb provided entertainment. The event raised over $11,300 for Mercy House.
