On Sat., Nov. 14th, Our Lady of Peace Parish will be celebrating its 50th Anniversary of the dedication of its church building. The celebration will commence with 5:15 p.m. Mass. Celebrants for the Mass are Father Joseph Clemente, Bishop Costello, Father John Fetcho, Deacon John Bowden, Deacon Ken Money and Deacon Frank Timson.
Invited guests attending include: members of the founding families of Our Lady of Peace Church; the first adult and the first infant baptized in the new church; the first couple married in the new church; members of the First Eucharist Class of May 7, 1965; members of the Confirmation Class of February 13,1965; and retired clergy and parish staff.
A reception hosted by the pastoral council will immediately follow Mass in Nazareth Hall, to celebrate the life, history, and people of Our Lady of Peace Parish.
