Pre-Lenten Parish Mission “Beginning Today,” presented by Father Kevin MacDonald, C.Ss.R., at St. James Church, 6 Green St., Cazenovia, 7-8 p.m. Father MacDonald is a Redemptorist Priest with an apostolate to aid and renew fellow Catholics in their faith journey. He will proclaim God’s Word through the Bible and Catholic Doctrine, and through his life, learning and personal experience. Free. All are invited!

Formation for Ministry Workshop “Discerning God’s Gifts,” at the Good News Center, 10475 Cosby Manor Rd., Utica, 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Come learn about the gifts God has bestowed on you and others to build his church! This workshop will be presented by Mary Hallman, Director of the Office of Evangelization. Free for those enrolled in FFM, $35 for others. Women’s Lenten Retreat at St. James Church, 147 Main St., Johnson City, 8 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Retreat includes Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, breakfast, Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, Confession, the rosary, and private prayer.
