ONEIDA — More than 100 baskets will be the focus of St. Patrick School’s 22nd annual Basket Bonanza on Sat., March 21 at the Rusty Rail in Canastota, N.Y. The event is the school’s largest fundraiser of the year. Doors will open at 4 p.m. for basket previews and drawings for the baskets will begin at 7 p.m.

This year’s emcees will be Danielle Cummings, chancellor of the the Diocese of Syracuse, and Dan Cummings, managing editor and news anchor for WSYR Channel 9 News.

The regular baskets to be raffled off are worth at least $75 and the specialty baskets are worth more than $150. There are some baskets offered this year that are worth several hundreds of dollars.

The grand prize raffle will be a 2015-2016 full tuition pass for one child at St. Patrick’s School. The jackpot prize will be four one-day passes to Disney World, Fla.; a $1500 Visa card; and luggage.

Tickets for the event are $5 and are on sale now at the school or Brigitte’s Hair Salon. This event is always extremely popular and traditionally sells out. Those interested in attending are advised to order tickets in advance. A limited number of tickets will be available at the door. Table reservations are available by calling (315) 363-3620.

Those attending may bring their own food and snacks, but all beverages must be purchased at the event. Soda, coffee, tea and a cash bar will be available.
