BINGHAMTON — On Divine Mercy Sunday, April 12, the parishes of St. Paul and St. Mary’s in Binghamton invite all those within the diocese to celebrate at the National Shrine of the Divine Mercy in Stockbridge, Mass., just 30 minutes east of Albany. The National Shrine is a special holy place at Eden Hill and thousands of pilgrims come each year to celebrate Mass, go to confession, say the chaplet of Divine Mercy at 3 p.m., visit the Divine Mercy Chapel and the shrine of the Blessed Mother.

Attendees interested in taking this trip should contact Eva Schmidt at the rectory at St. Paul’s at (607) 722-6492 to reserve a seat on the bus. There are food vendors at the site or attendees can bring a boxed lunch. Registration will close March 16.
