It was a blast from the past Jan. 18 as Parochial League rivals St. Patrick’s and Sacred Heart faced off on the basketball court.

Bishop Ludden’s and Christian Brothers Academy’s boys basketball teams sported retro jerseys based on those worn by Parochial League teams decades ago, with Ludden representing St. Pat’s and CBA representing the Hearts. The “throwback” game, dubbed the “Holy War,” was part of the Pathfinder Zebra Classic held at Onondaga Community College’s SRC Arena.

Current students and alums alike turned out in droves for the game, which saw Bishop Ludden/St. Pat’s best CBA/the Hearts 59-46. Below, some scenes from the game.
